Tired all the time? Here are some highlights that should hit the mark.

I find that many people who come to our clinic for various illnesses are first and foremost tired.

Philosophically speaking that does not surprise me because naturopathy has a saying that all illness come from four basic needs that aren’t met (on one or more of our life planes - physical, mental, emotional & Spiritual):

  1. Nourishment
    Food can heal and can kill (And don't forget that emotional, mental and spiritual nourishment is just as critical as physical food)

  2. Detoxification
    Cleaning out your gut daily is very healthy and important to improve your energy but so will clearing out bad thinking and emotional habits.

  3. motion
    Moving your body = feeding your cells and clearing their trash. Moving out of emotional or mental stuckness can be just as rejuvenating.

  4. Vitality - a.k.a having enough energy!
    Having energy allows all other tools above the ability to function. it is kind of a closed system where if one of the above fails all the others will be negatively affected.

Covering the whole subject even in a good long blog post is not realistic so I am breaking it down into chewable bits :) .

lifestyle and habits

  1. Sleep: do you get your 8 hours per night?

  2. Breathing: Do you forget to breath sometimes?

  3. Food: Is your food nourishing at all?

  4. Drink: Do you drink enough? know how to tell?

  5. Sports: Is your body in motion on a daily basis? Do you stretch enough?

Stress

  1. Physical stress: do you really know your physical body? Are you aware of how much physical stress you have accumulated?

  2. Emotional stress: Any idea where you accumulated emotional stress? How do you de-stress emotions?

  3. Mental stress: Think too much? Know how to balance it? And how to clear your mind?

  4. Spiritual stress: Is your life full of meaning? Are you happy?

Work related

  1. Workaholism: No comment lol...

  2. Bad relations at work: Nothing to be ignored if you want to be vital.

  3. Wrong work for you…: Now that is a whole chain of posts to come all on its own.

Environmental

  1. Electromagnetics: No tin foil hat needed. No joking matter either.

  2. Toxic environment: Time to clean up our world. How do we keep ourselves vital in the mean time?
